The Asian Range

While London traders sleep, Asia creates a consolidation box. London's job is to break out of it — usually with a fake-out first.

What This Means

The Asian session (midnight to 7am GMT) is low-volume. Price moves in a tight range. This range defines the boundaries of where stop losses are clustered. Buyers who entered during Asia have their stops below the Asian low. Sellers have stops above the Asian high. London institutions target these stops first — then make the real move.

The Rule

Mark the Asian high and Asian low every day before 7am. These are your key levels.

The Asian range typically forms from midnight to 6am GMT.
