Copy This: The Stop Hunt Trade

The complete stop hunt trade from mark-up to entry to management.

What This Means

This is one of the highest-probability setups in SMC trading. Banks need liquidity. Liquidity is at equal highs and lows. When they go get that liquidity, they leave a very clear fingerprint. You just have to read it and react.

Do these steps exactly
1
Step 1 — Mark up
Find all equal highs and equal lows on the 1H chart. Mark BSL and SSL.
2
Step 2 — Check bias
4H bias bullish? Only look for bullish stop hunt setups (sweeps below SSL).
3
Step 3 — Set alerts
Set price alerts at your SSL or BSL levels. Don't watch the screen.
4
Step 4 — Wait for spike
When the alert fires, watch for the spike through the level.
5
Step 5 — Wait for close
Do NOT enter during the wick. Wait for the candle to CLOSE back inside the level.
6
Step 6 — Enter
Buy (for SSL sweep) or Sell (for BSL sweep) on the next candle open.
7
Step 7 — Stop Loss
Place SL below the lowest point of the wick (with 5-pip buffer).
8
Step 8 — Target
Target the opposing liquidity pool. Minimum 1:3 risk-reward.
