Finding FVGs on Any Chart
Once you see FVGs, you can't unsee them. They're everywhere — but only some are worth trading.
What This Means
FVGs form on every timeframe and every asset. The most reliable FVGs are those that form during significant market structure moves (after a BOS), during London and New York sessions, and on the 15M or higher timeframes. FVGs on the 1M chart are noise. FVGs on the 1H chart are significant.
Visual
The Rule
Only trade FVGs formed during a BOS or significant displacement. Avoid FVGs during choppy consolidation.

Do these steps exactly1
Open the 15M chart of XAUUSD
2
Find the last 3 strong directional moves
3
On each move, look for the 3-candle FVG pattern
4
Mark each FVG with a box
5
Note which FVGs have already been filled (price returned) vs which are still open
6
Unfilled FVGs = active targets that price will likely return to
Common Mistake
Don't mark every single FVG. Focus only on the ones that formed during a clear BOS or strong institutional move.
